At PY Media we run Outside Broadcasts such as live music, community meetings and other community events. PY Media seeks to engage the community through these events to strengthen relations and attract future broadcasters, radio producers and media workers in general.
PY Media has a long history of organising events for people of the APY Lands that bring people together for whole of community fun.

Mimili Outside Broadcast was a an event put on to celebrate the good work happening in Mimili by the various organisations and employers. We had a range of people come on the radio and by all accounts it was a great day.

30th Anniversary of Uluru and Kata Tjuta Handback Ceremony O/B
PY Media attended the very significant anniversary of Uluru and Kata Tjuta to traditional owners on the 24th, 25th and 26th of October and covered the events with a live broadcast back to the APY Lands and filmed many of the goings on.
Our Outside Broadcast Team was prepared to go live back to the APY Lands using nothing more than an iPhone and iPad which is part of our innovative and cutting edge approach to bringing live events to the listeners of radio 5NPY.
